Info: Robert Bradford grew up in a fairly bland South London suburb and wanted to become an artist from a very young age. He has his foundation at Beckenham School of Art, his B.A. in painting at Ravensbourne College of Art in Kent and an M.A. in Film at the Royal College of Art, London.

Statement: “There is also often talk about consumerism waste and recycling, which whilst not being my central concern is also in my view positive when it occurs,” he says.

Background Info: Bradford started using old toys to create sculptures. One of the most fascinating aspects of his work though remains his close connections with psychotherapy and the study of the mind, a theme that is reflected in his works, particularly those created with trashed toys
